Torquay United all set for a historic double-header weekend at Plainmoor

In the hope of not being proved wrong here, we believe Torquay United are heading toward a historic weekend at Plainmoor.

For the first time in 126 years (we think), the Gulls will host two competitive league fixtures on consecutive days at Plainmoor, with the National League South clash against Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday (KO 3pm) swiftly followed by TUFC Women v Pucklechurch in the Women's Football League.

On Saturday, Paul Wotton’s men will return home following last Saturday’s 1-0 win at Salisbury to take on pre-season promotion favourites Dagenham & Redbridge in another intriguing National League South clash, with The Gulls looking to make it six home wins out of six.

Less than 24 hours later, Ryan Perks’ women will also be looking to follow up last Sunday’s 3-2 FA Cup win over Southampton and extend their own unblemished winning run at Plainmoor, as they take on league leaders Pucklechurch Sports in the SWRWFL Premier Division.

This is a unique opportunity for the Yellow Army to get behind both of the men’s and women’s senior sides, and the club is providing supporters with an extra-special offer to ensure as many fans as possible can enjoy this weekend’s feast of football!

Supporters who attend Saturday’s clash against Dagenham & Redbridge will not only be able to enjoy another exciting afternoon of National League South football, but they can also return to Plainmoor the following day to watch TUFC Women battle it out with Pucklechurch for FREE!

Once again, Plainmoor Pass holders will also be able to purchase FREE tickets for this fixture, whilst fans wishing to purchase individual tickets for just the Pucklechurch fixture can also take advantage of reduced admission prices this weekend!

Dagenham ticket holders and Plainmoor Pass holders can purchase their FREE ticket by simply logging into their online account and selecting the relevant ‘Daggers’ or Plainmoor Pass’ free ticket option.
