Fun with the Bliss Care team at garden parties
This summer, Bliss Care once again proved that community is at the heart of everything it does. Across its two warm and welcoming homes - Aveland Court and Lorna House - the season was marked by celebration, connection, and care.
Residents, their families, and staff gathered for lively garden parties, where laughter, live music, and joy filled the air. These events not only provided fun and entertainment but also fostered meaningful moments across generations.
In appreciation of the team’s tireless dedication, Bliss Care treated staff to a well-deserved boat party, a gesture of gratitude for the compassion and commitment they show every day.
Bliss Care also launched an inspiring new internship programme, offering individuals aged 16 and above an opportunity to explore careers in social care. The initiative provides young people with valuable real-world experience in a deeply rewarding field.
Bliss Care’s impact goes far beyond seasonal events. As a family-run organisation led by two experienced nurses, it offers personalised residential care, day services, and enriching activities throughout the year.
You can meet the Bliss Care team in person at the Babbacombe Fayre on August 10 - a perfect opportunity to learn more about their approach to care.
With a foundation built on warmth, dignity, and genuinely person-centred care, Bliss Care continues to be a place where everyone feels respected, included, and truly at home.
