The Queens Platinum Jubilee event is being pulled together by the Cullompton Town Team, various community groups, churches & the Community Association is providing the venue for an event on Saturday, June 4   in the CCA fields. Everything is at the planning stage with all ideas being shared to produce a town celebration for all ages.

Volunteer groups, displays, musicians, demonstrations are all encouraged to be involved in what will undoubtedly be a once in a lifetime event. Games, competitions, challenges, attractions will all be very welcomed and should get in touch with the Town Team via Ray Ursell who is acting as co-ordinator. We are looking for entertainers and attractions -bouncy castles, vintage cars, motorbikes supercars anything in the community that can build a memorable day.

A jubilee wood and community orchard has been planted and a landmark tree to celebrate 70 years of our Monarch's reign as well as a celebratory wood for Eileen Andrews who has served Cullompton for 50 years as a community volunteer and as a Town & District Councillor. We will be organising an unveiling ceremony on June 4 and a beacon lighting event.

The big request is will you join us to make memories for young & less young members of the community.
