Torquay United’s frustrating 1-0 defeat at Chesham United on the weekend ended a five-match unbeaten run for the Gulls and leaves them requiring a response at home to lowly Chippenham tonight.
Over the opening weeks of the season, United were full of goals as an attacking outfit but leaked chances at the other end. It has been a different dynamic offer the past four fixtures, two goals scored and one conceded.
However, Chippenham arrive at Plainmoor as a side desperate to find some form after a torrid start to the campaign that has seen them yet to record a victory, although there were some positive signs in the weekend draw with Dover Athletic.
It is a special night for Jay Foulston, who had two previous loan spells with the Bluebirds, while former United youngster Olaf Koszela has made nine appearances for Chippenham so far this season.
Three points for Torquay United has to be priority tonight before heading to a tricky weekend game at Dorking Wanderers.
