It is no exaggeration to say the visit of Exeter City in the Women’s FA Cup on Sunday is the biggest game in the history of Torquay United Women.

After a nailbiting and entertaining victory over Southampton in the previous round, TUFC Women have been handed a plum tie with the Grecians, who play their football higher up the pyramid and will represent a massive challenge for the Gulls.

The match will be played on Sunday, October 26 (ko 2pm) at Plainmoor, which has already hosted three wins for TUFC Women this season, and the club is pulling out all the stops for what should be a fantastic occasion. Tickets are priced at just £5 for adults, £2 for U18s and FREE to Plainmoor Pass holders.

And while you’re at Plainmoor for the day, it is a good chance to get your hands on the new Torquay United third shirt, a sporty purple number from VX3, which takes inspiration from the famous away shirt of the early 1990s, proudly worn by United greats Wes Saunders, Mark Loram, Justin Fashanu and more.

Torquay United fans based in Newton Abbot will have a special opportunity to spend the evening with manager Paul Wotton and the club hierarchy at the magnificent Eastern Eye Restaurant on Queen Street.

The award-winning Indian restaurant will open its doors to Wotton and the Yellow Army on Thursday, November 20 from 7pm and tickets are available for just £25 per person, contact tiegan.way@clearskypublishing.co.uk to book your place.

As well as fantastic food, you will hear stories from Paul’s proud career in the game, try your hand at a fun sports quiz and look forward to an inside view on hopes for the Torquay United season.
