Twelve Torbay AAC runners took part this year in the Templer Ten race, hosted by Teignbridge Trotters.

The event starts and finishes in the wonderful grounds of Stover School, and a 10-mile multi-terrain course. After completing a lap of the grounds, the runners exit on to the Heritage Trail and then down to Templer Way and across the fields of Teigngrace.

From here, it’s up to the picturesque Stover Country Park alongside the lake and through the woods before returning to the grounds of Stover School and the finish.

Thankfully, Storm Amy had passed by the day before and conditions on the day were much calmer and conducive to running.  The race certainly lived up to its multi-terrain description from fields, lanes, gravel paths, woodland paths, muddy trails and even a water crossing!.
