Babbacombe Theatre line up hat-trick of top shows

Torquay's Babbacombe Theatre is raising the curtain on a ‘first’ - not one or two but three top shows one after the other.

A theatre spokesman said: “This is a first. We have three shows from Thursday September 26 up to and including Saturday September 28.”

The fun starts with A Night To Remember: A Motown Show which takes you back in time to 1960’s Detroit, on Thursday September 26(7.30pm).

It stars Bizzi Dixon, a British singer best known for appearing in the 2014 series of ITV’s inspirational reality talent show The Voice, where he was selected on Sir Tom Jones’ team and reached the semi-finals.

In this show Bizzi is backed by the soulful vocal dynamics of The Motown Divas, this musical celebration is sure to have you singing along and dancing in the aisles and the streets.

Baga Chipz MBE; actress, singer-songwriter, comedian, ex-Page 3 Model, Ladies Darts Champion and ‘professional shoplifter,’ takes centre stage on Friday September 27 (7.30pm).

Due to the success of last year's tour, the Rupaul Drag Race UK star is coming back bigger, MUCH BETTA and very, very harsh!

Hosted by the fabulous Mutha Tucka, this is one show not to be missed. Expect various adult themes so do not bring your kids! Age recommended 16+

The hat-trick is complete with the return of the History of Rock on Saturday September 28( 7.30pm).

As always, the audience can expect to be taken on a thrilling ride through the history of rock – but this time, the band are turning the spotlight on Led Zeppelin, as they headline the ultimate rock concert line-up the world has ever seen.

This show is undoubtedly a must see for any fan of rock music.

You can book tickets for the shows direct from the venue, by phone on 01803 328385 or online at www.babbacombe-theatre.com
