Brixham's coastguard rescue team were called to a 'bomb' alert at Mansands Beach.

Brixham's coastguard rescue team were called to a 'bomb' alert at Mansands Beach.
A call said there was possible ordnance at the beach.
The coastguard team said: "Once on scene, Coastguard Rescue Officers quickly identified that the item was not ordnance and posed no danger."
They emphasised: "The person who reported this did exactly the right thing. If you see something unusual or suspicious on the beach or coastline, don’t touch it, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard."
