South West Wrestling is set to make history as it brings its unmistakable brand of live professional wrestling to Torquay for the very first time.

On Sunday, March 29, SWW will present Clash on the Coast at The Foundry, marking a landmark debut for the promotion on the English Riviera.

The announcement follows a hugely successful end to January, with packed and electric shows across Plymouth and Exeter, and momentum is now firmly behind SWW as it expands its reach into Torquay. Organisers promise a high-energy night of championship action, star names, hometown heroes and unforgettable moments for fans of all ages.

At the heart of the event will be Devon’s own Toby St John, the current SWW Champion and one half of the SWW Tag Team Champions. In one of the most dominant runs in recent company history, St John has established himself as a powerful figure within SWW.

Alongside tag partner Jordan Sparkes, he has also formed a new faction known as The County Lines, which includes current SWW Women’s Champions Ruby Manitoba and Rhiannon Jade. The group has quickly become one of the most formidable forces on the roster.

Another local favourite, Devon Fulton, will defend his newly won SWW BRITPRO Cup, as he looks to cement his status as one of the region’s rising stars.

Adding further prestige, UK wrestling legend and Devon native Joel Redman — known to international audiences from WWE NXT as Oliver Grey — will also compete. A former ITV World of Sport standout, Redman’s appearance highlights the calibre of talent heading to Torquay.

Also confirmed are SWW favourites Eddie Ryan and former SWW Women’s Champion LA Taylor, both of whom are expected to receive a rousing reception from fans.

Torquay’s own “The Sexy Cowboy” Karl Parker will make a homecoming appearance, teaming once again with fan favourite The Cowman Dinger Bane in what promises to be a lively and unpredictable tag team encounter.

The event will also showcase emerging wrestling talent from across the South West, underlining SWW’s commitment to grassroots development and community engagement. Organisers say the family-friendly show is designed to appeal to everyone, from lifelong wrestling fans to families experiencing live wrestling for the first time.

Fans can expect a full live-event experience, including a licensed bar, official merchandise and several surprise appearances throughout the evening.

SWW promoter and former World of Sport star Peter Bainbridge said: “Bringing South West Wrestling to Torquay is something I’m incredibly excited about. Wrestling has deep roots in this region, and Torquay deserves to experience it live and up close. After the fantastic response we had in Plymouth and Exeter, we knew the time was right. Clash on the Coast will be loud, exciting and full of passion — everything professional wrestling should be.”
