St Christopher's Prep School and Nursery, a small independent school just outside Totnes in South Devon, is bursting with pride! Their U11 Cricket team has just won the prestigious ISA South West Cricket Tournament, a truly incredible achievement for such a small school.

The U11 team, made up of pupils from Years 4, 5, and 6, played with brilliant skill and teamwork throughout the tournament. They managed to beat much larger schools from across the region to secure their well-deserved title. For a small school like St Christopher's, this is a huge statement that shows what dedicated coaching and young talent can achieve.

Cricket is a big part of the sports programme at St Christopher's, with all children receiving regular lessons. The U11 team's success is a direct result of the passionate and expert coaching from Mr Bellham and Mr Lowden. They've really helped the children fall in love with the game and sharpen their skills, leading them to this fantastic victory.

Headteacher Mrs Alexandra Cottell said: "We are absolutely thrilled and so incredibly proud of our U11 Cricket team. It truly reflects the sheer hard work, commitment, and amazing spirit of our pupils, alongside the outstanding dedication from our staff. This win will undoubtedly inspire all our students and stands as a fantastic example of what you can achieve with passion and determination."
