Today, 18 February, marks 100 days until the English Riviera Airshow returns to the Bay.

The free-to-attend event will take place from Friday 29 May to Sunday 31 May, with more than 200,000 visitors expected across the weekend.

This year’s show will also mark the 10th anniversary of the first event in 2016.

Organisers say the 2026 programme will feature flying displays, ground entertainment and an opening-night celebration, with activity taking place across the weekend.

Confirmation of which RAF aircraft and display teams will appear is expected by the end of March.

Previous events have included appearances from the Royal Air Force Red Arrows, the Eurofighter Typhoon and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

The Airshow is delivered with support from Torbay Council, English Riviera BID Company, local businesses and aviation groups.

Organisers are encouraging businesses and community groups to get involved through sponsorship and advertising opportunities.

Advertising space in the official programme starts from £150. Digital screen advertising during the event is available from £250.

New for 2026, businesses can sponsor an individual flying display for £5,000. The package includes brand mentions in the official programme, display timings and on social media.

Joint sponsorship packages are also available for both the Airshow and the Bay of Lights, which attracted almost 1.6 million visitors last year. Packages are offered at Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze levels.

In-kind sponsorship, such as providing security, fencing or other infrastructure, is also being sought.

Cllr Jackie Thomas, Torbay Council Cabinet Member for Tourism, Culture & Events and Corporate Services, said: “We are calling on local businesses and residents to get behind the English Riviera Airshow and help us deliver an unforgettable weekend for the whole Bay. By sponsoring the Airshow, you’re not just promoting your brand—you’re helping create an experience that families, residents and visitors can enjoy together. It’s a true community celebration, and we’d love everyone to be part of it.”

Carolyn Custerson, chief executive of the English Riviera BID Company, said: “The English Riviera Airshow is a highlight of our visitor events calendar, and our message is simple – make a weekend of it. Enjoy the spectacular displays, then stay for fantastic accommodation, great food and our stunning coastline. For businesses, sponsorship in this special 10th anniversary year offers a chance to be part of an event that delivers real impact and we encourage everyone to get involved.”
