Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was found badly injured in Torquay.
At around 3.15am on Saturday 31 January, a 27-year-old man approached door staff at Park Lane on Torwood Street.
He had muddy footprints on his clothing and severe injuries to his face, including multiple fractures and swelling to the left side of his head and face, as well as bleeding behind his eye.
The man has no recollection of what happened to him.
He was last seen on CCTV leaving the Apple & Parrot uninjured at 2.16am before running up an alleyway towards Parkhill Road about a minute later.
Officers investigating the incident are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the man during that time period, or who may have relevant information or footage that could help establish how he sustained his injuries.
The man is described as white, of average build, around 5ft 10ins tall and bald.
He was wearing a white T-shirt with a dark grey or black buttoned jacket or shirt, black trousers and black and purple shoes.
