Five star rating for Torquay-based home builder

Celebrating 5-stars, Cavanna Homes’ Senior Leadership Team.

Torbay homebuilder Cavanna Homes is celebrating receiving a five star customer satisfaction rating – by donating a brilliant new book on house building to primary schools close to its current developments.

The Torquay-based, family-owned business, which last year celebrated 100 years of creating homes in the South West, has been awarded the prestigious five star rating by the Home Builders Federation, the maximum accreditation for house builders in England and Wales.

More than 90 per cent of Cavanna Homes’ customers had to award the company five stars in a satisfaction survey for the company to win the coveted rating.  Only house builders which achieve that score can call themselves five star house builders.

Cavanna Homes wanted to mark the accolade in a way that underlines the company’s commitment, not just to house buyers, but to the whole community in which it is building new homes.

It is distributing copies of a highly acclaimed book for children by television’s home-building and renovation expert George Clarke, called How to Build a Home, to primary school libraries close to its current developments all over the Westcountry.

Cavanna Homes Group Managing Director Grayham Tucker said: “It is hugely important to us that our customers have recognised the quality of the homes we build and have rewarded us with a five-star rating.

"This is due in no small part to the hard work and attention to detail of everyone involved, including Cavanna staff, contractors, suppliers and consultants.  I want to thank them all for their efforts.
