Police investigating a serious assault want to talk to this man

Police would like to speak to this man in connection with a serious assault in Torquay.

A man was assaulted by another in the taxi queue on Vaughan Parade on the harbourside in the early hours of New Year’s Day. The attack followed a dispute over a taxi.

The victim, in his 40s and from Torquay, sustained serious facial and ankle injuries which required hospital treatment.

Police investigating the incident would like to identify the man pictured here as they believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries.  

Anyone who recognises him or has any information which may assist with the investigation is asked to come forward.
