The final round of the Torbay Bigwave Business Games was held last week - and what an end it was.
The seven teams put their general knowledge to the test in a pub quiz at TLH Leisure Resort.
Quiz master Peter tested the teams with questions about geography, sport, food and drinks, entertainment and general knowledge.
The victors of the pub quiz were Torbay Business Forum, closely followed by Princess Theatre with Wollens coming third.
Once the final scores had been added up, the excitement was building for prize-giving ceremony.
Torbay Leisure Centre picked up the Spirit of the Games award, while Wollens won the Fair Play award.
However, the 2023 Torbay Bigwave Business Games will go down in history as the first games to result in a draw!
The two winners of the 2023 games are PKF Francis Clark and Torbay Business Forum.
Simon Beer and Pippa Craddock, of Bigwave Marketing, said: "Thank you to all of the teams that took part in the second Torbay Bigwave Business Games. It was great to bring the Games back after the enforced break due to Covid and once again supporting local charity Torbay Holiday Helpers’ Network.
"Thanks also to our host venues - TLH Leisure Resort, Torquay Tennis Club and HQ Escape Torquay, and to sponsors Stormpress.
"Everyone really did enter into the spirit of the Games and, despite the heat, really looked like they enjoyed each of the rounds.
"We’re looking forward to seeing the businesses again next year!”
This year’s Games were a fitting tribute to, and held in memory of, Bigwave’s colleague and friend Ronnie Halden, who died last December.
