Torquay Rugby Club take pride of place in Calcutta Cup
In the midst of all the incredible drama provided by England’s nail-biting Calcutta Cup victory over Scotland in the Six Nations, some familiar local faces provided that dash of luck for a one-point victory.
Torquay Rugby Club was nominated for the Ultimate Guinness Rugby Experience by Director Chris Siddall for the club’s contribution to the community.
The prize included a team of players, coaches, volunteers and coaches descending on Twickenham to meet their heroes and help with the pre-match celebrations. It was, without doubt, a wonderful occasion for the Tics in what has been a stellar season for the club.
