Torbay paid tribute to members of the Armed Forces past, present and future with a Paignton seafront parade.
Torbay Armed Forces Day was held on Paignton Green and, for the third year, the event was run by the Veterans of Torbay (Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club).
The day started with a parade from Harbour Lights at 11am, finishing on the Green. People who have served in the military past, present and future attended.
There will be stalls and food for all the family as well as free entertainment provided in the marquee throughout the day. Bays Brewery provided the refreshments.
The daytime event closed at 6pm to make way for an evening of entertainment from 8pm as Soul Function performed in the marquee.
Ronnie Carter, chairman of Torbay Armed Forces day, said: "We have been raising money all year to put this event on and would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors Torbay Taxis, Havills, L.F. Harris (International) Ltd, the Babbacombe Inn, 1vision Print and St Weonards Hotel for the two-day stay prize.
"Also a big thank you to Paignton Festival chairman Mike Bailey for being my wing man in his expertise and all the staff and volunteers."
