It said 'Naturally Inspiring' on the sign and that's what it was... and more besides.
The Bay of Lights Christmas illumination trail 2023 was unveiled for the first time at the weekend, also taking in Paignton and Brixham
The trail, provided by Torbay Council and supported by the English Riviera BID Company and other businesses, is bigger, better and brighter this year.
Business has been boosted in local bars and restaurants by the colourful trail.
Meanwhile in Paignton and Torre community spirit shone through as the local community partnerships switched on their trees and lights.
The trail may well be shining a light on brighter future for the Bay with millions of pounds investment lined up for game-changing regeneration projects.
