Theatre director Flik Swan has been nominated for Best Direction at the Pantomime Awards 2026 for last year’s production of Sleeping Beauty at the Princess Theatre, Torquay.
The nomination recognises Swan’s creative leadership in bringing the classic fairy tale to life for audiences during the 2025–2026 festive season.
The production was the third pantomime staged at the Torquay venue by Jordan Productions and proved a popular hit with families across Torbay.
Packed with colourful costumes, lively choreography and plenty of audience participation, the show blended traditional pantomime humour with a contemporary edge.
