Plans are underway for 23 new homes in Paignton, with developer Charles Church set to release properties at its The Orchards site.
The development is located next to Inglewood, where Persimmon Homes South West is building 373 homes.
The new homes in Paignton come as the UK government continues to push its national target of delivering 1.5 million new homes by the end of 2025.

The initiative is part of wider efforts to address the country’s ongoing housing shortage, with developers and local authorities playing a key role in meeting these ambitious targets.
The Orchards forms part of a broader wave of housing developments in Torbay.
In recent years, other sites such as St Mary’s View, developed by Taylor Wimpey, have added new homes to the area, reflecting the town’s growing residential footprint and ongoing investment in local housing.
A showhome at The Orchards is scheduled to open at the end of September, with sales starting from 18 October.
The development will include four and five-bedroom properties, and is close to local schools, shops, transport links, and Paignton’s beaches.
