English Riviera Airshow launches exclusive clubs for supporters

Organisers of the 2025 English Riviera Airshow are encouraging residents and local businesses to join one of two new supporter schemes: the Aviators Club and the Engineers Club.

Both clubs have been launched for the first time this year and offer exclusive benefits to members while helping to support the continued staging of the annual event.

The airshow, which is organised by Torbay Council with support from the English Riviera BID Company, will take place from Friday 30 May to Sunday 1 June.

This year’s English Riviera Airshow is set to be the largest to date. The event will open on Friday, 30 May, with an evening of live music, aerial displays, and fireworks. Headline aerial acts over the weekend include the RAF Red Arrows, RAF Typhoon and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. Additional civilian displays are expected to be announced soon.

On the ground, visitors can enjoy a military village, funfair, STEM marquee, craft fair, and performances continuing into the evening, alongside a variety of local traders and exhibitors.

Cllr Jackie Thomas, Cabinet Member for Tourism, Culture & Events and Corporate Services at Torbay Council, said: “It is the businesses, organisations and people that make the English Riviera Airshow such a success. Without their generous support, we wouldn’t be able to keep putting on this event for tens of thousands of people to enjoy.

“Our Aviators and Engineers Clubs provide a fantastic opportunity for small businesses and individuals to show their support. Your support really will make a difference and will ensure we can keep bringing you a bigger event year on year.”

Volunteers are also being sought to support the event on the ground. Opportunities are available for individuals with experience in event management, catering and trader liaison, accessibility support, coordination, and more. Businesses can also explore sponsorship, product sampling, and branding opportunities to reach more than 70,000 daily attendees and a wider global audience. Enquiries should be directed to: airshowopportunities@torbay.gov.uk
