Another business is investing in Torquay harbourside.
After a four year run in Marlborough, which saw Kitchen Sisters become Wiltshire’s Number One-rated burger restaurant, the burgers have arrived on Victoria Parade.
With an extensive refit of the old Man Friday’s first floor location overlooking the harbour, Kitchen Sisters are now open for business and ready to introduce their burgers to both locals and visitors to Torbay.
Kitchen Sisters are excited to have arrived at the harbour side in Torquay. Karl Lloyd, front-of-house, said: "We had so much fun in Marlborough and met so many wonderful people and will be forever grateful for their enthusiasm and love for what we do at Kitchen Sisters.
"Voting us Wiltshire’s Number One-rated burger restaurant and Marlborough’s Number One restaurant over all, up against the likes of Rick Stein’s and other top end eateries, made all the early mornings and late nights worth it.
"We couldn't have hoped for a better start to our journey. And now, with our move to Torquay and the extra visibility that being on one of the liveliest streets in town gives us, even more people will be able to find out what a real burger should taste like."
Head Chef Lesia Weremijenko said: "We don't just cook burgers; we cook them, taste them, tweak them and taste them again.
"We work closely with a carefully selected group of the finest local suppliers to ensure only the very best of ingredients make it into our kitchen."
Beef sourced from native Dartmoor herds, born and raised on the moor, ensure the burgers are succulent, juicy and bursting with flavour and each burger is made by hand each day and seasoned to Kitchen Sisters’ own secret recipe. The pork comes from Devon reared pigs.
Kitchen Sisters is on the first floor at 22 Victoria Parade (above Twenty1). Their entrance is tucked away up the alley that leads to Torquay’s Crime Museum. Currently open Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday lunch time.
