Paignton local bus service withdrawn and replaced by Torbay Minibuses route

The change is part of a series of updates to Stagecoach South West services across the region from Sunday, with passengers advised to check the latest timetable and service information at stagecoachbus.com.
Stagecoach is withdrawing its Paignton Local Service 60 from this Sunday, November 1, and replacing it with a new Service 26 operated by Torbay Minibuses.
The change is among a series of updates to Stagecoach South West services across the region from Sunday.
Elsewhere on the Paignton to Kingswear route, Service 120 will use a higher-capacity vehicle during term time to cope with demand from school and college customers. Once issues with overhanging trees along the route have been resolved, a double-decker bus will be used to provide further capacity.
Service 81, which runs from Kingsbridge to South Devon College, will leave Kingsbridge 10 minutes earlier, at 7.40am, and run earlier throughout its route. Stagecoach said this would help ensure a consistently punctual arrival at the college.
Peter Knight, managing director of Stagecoach South West, said: “We’re always looking at how we can improve our services to better meet the needs of the communities we serve, and customer feedback plays an important role in shaping those decisions.”
He said the company was making “a small number of timetable and seasonal changes across the network” and encouraged customers to familiarise themselves with the updates before travelling.
