Ivy and outlaws for Torbay Tri Club

The Ivybridge 10k is a very popular race organised superbly by Erme Valley Harriers, which took place in blissful sunshine.

Among the 550 runners were five from the Torbay Triathlon Club. First back was V50 Jerry Hocking  in 42mins 19secs (67th), followed by V45 Louise Gentry in 44mins 20secs (94th), and 1st V45.

Next was V50 Simon Johnson in 45mins 05secs (105th), V40 Katie Giles in 57mins 46secs (365th), closely followed by David Hewet in 58mins 28secs (385).

The Outlaw half standard distance triathlon took place in Nottingham, the distances are a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike and a half marathon 

Representing the Tri Club and having a good day was Bobby Singh, completing the tough course in 6hrs 24mins 48secs - 40min 07secs (swim), 3hr 21mins 16secs (Bike), and 2hr 11mins for the half marathon.

Meanwhile, near Launceston, Bradley Price took on the Roadford Lake sprint triathlon, a 750m swim, 20k bike and 5k run. A successful day for Bradley, finishing 9th overall, 3rd in the V35 category. Swim time 16mins 11secs / bike 39min 59secs / run 23mins 28secs.
