The Gulls strutting their stuff at other clubs
As it stands, Torquay United have seven players out on loan, all making differing contributions to their temporary clubs.
The list reads Brad Ash and Ollie Tomlinson (Bath City), Jadyn Crosbie (Gloucester City), Ben Seymour (AFC Totton) and Matt Wonnacott (Plymouth Parkway).
Starting with goalkeeper Wonnacott, it was a rough start to his spell with Parkway, as the young stopper was shown a red card in the draw with Bracknell after a professional foul on 18 minutes.
Despite that setback, Wonnacott was back between the sticks for Parkway in their weekend trip to Marlow, and he kept a clean sheet in a terrific 2-0 victory that helped lift his new team out of the Southern League relegation zone.
Last week, Ben Seymour signed for AFC Totton, who are competing at the top of the Southern League, and he made his debut as a substitute in the 1-1 draw at Merthyr Town. He also featured in the 2-1 win over Gosport Borough, a result that keeps Totton second in the table.
The team sitting directly below them is Gloucester City, who have young United forward Jadyn Crosbie on a season-long loan. Jadyn was a late substitute for Gloucester in the 2-1 weekend win over Sholing.
Bath City have two Gulls on their books, defender Tomlinson recently extended his loan to the end of the season and he has been joined at Twerton Park by striker Brad Ash.
Ash introduced himself to the Romans with a goal in the Boxing Day victory at Chippenham, while Tomlinson has now settled down to become a regular starter for his new club.
Now under the management of Darren Way, Bath are looking to pull clear of any relegation trouble, and both Brad and Ollie were involved in the 1-1 weekend draw at Enfield.
