Keeley Little and Toby Moxham
Super results for Torbay AAC Juniors
Two Torbay Athletic club juniors travelled to the Welsh National indoor athletics track in Cardiff on Sunday for the second Junior indoor track meeting of the winter.
The meeting was dominated by Welsh athletes, but also incorporated the South West indoor championships.
Both Torbay athletes were in excellent form, posting some quality performances, indicating their winter training is progressing well. Keeley Little, Under-17, placed 3rd overall in the 60m hurdles in 9.35 sec, winning the South West title and setting a new Personal Best and new Club record.
In her specialist event, the 60m sprint, Keeley placed 2nd overall out of 42 entrants, winning the South West title, again setting a new PB and Club record with a time of 7.73 sec
Toby Moxham, Under-15, dominated his two events, registering the fastest times overall in both the 60m hurdles 9.50 sec, and 60m sprint 7.54 sec. Both performances won him the South West titles, as well as two new PB’s and setting two new Club records, which had stood for 21 years.
Keeley will now focus on the Welsh senior national championships later in the month with confidence.
