Torquay United ins and outs over Christmas

In the midst of Christmas chaos and fabulous fun of festive football, Torquay United have been active in the transfer market.

In addition to the permanent signing of Dylan Morgan from Yeovil Town and the loan of Jack Wood from Southend, the Gulls have seen players returning, loans extended and players departing.

Starting with those back at Plainmoor, the loan of Will Jenkins Davies from Plymouth Argyle was extended to the end of the season and Ben Seymour has returned to the club after a one-month stint with Bath City.

Ollie Tomlinson has extended his stay with the Romans until the end of the campaign but United have said farewell to Finn Tonks, released back to parent club Bournemouth, and Keke Jeffers, who was unable to make a major impression during his loan from Stoke City.

Young striker Jadyn Crosbie has prolonged his loan at Southern League Gloucester City to the end of the season and there was the pleasing sight of goalkeeper Matt Wonnacott being named on the bench for the FA Trophy game at Worthing after his loan spell at Tiverton was cruelly cut short by a serious arm injury early in the campaign.
