Indoor titles for Torbay junior athletes

Two Torbay Athletic club juniors travelled to the Welsh National indoor athletics track in Cardiff on Sunday for the first junior indoor track meeting of the winter.

The meeting, dominated by Welsh athletes, also incorporated the South West indoor championships, with both sprinters excelling themselves.

Keeley Little competed in the Under-17 200m, winning her heat in an indoor Personal Best on the tight indoor 200m track in a time of 25.45 sec, placing second out of 48 competitors and winning the South West indoor title.

Toby Moxham, competing in his first indoor meeting, won his Under-15 200m heat in 24.67 sec, placing third overall and winning the South West indoor title. Toby completed the double by recording the fastest heat time later in the 300m and took his second South West indoor track title, recording a new Personal Best time of 39.72 sec.
