Young striker joins Southern League club for a month
Torquay United striker Jadyn Crosbie has signed for Gloucester City on a short-term loan deal until November 7.
Crosbie, 20, moved to Plainmoor in the summer after an incredible campaign with Mangotsfield in the Hellenic League, bagging 37 goals in 48 appearances.
While first-team opportunities have been limited for the powerful young striker over the opening two months of the United campaign, he now has the chance to shine with a Gloucester side currently second in the Southern League Premier.
Torquay United’s home fixture with Maidstone United has been rescheduled for Tuesday November 12, with a 7.45pm kick-off. The original game was due to take place on October 12 but had to be postponed due to Maidstone’s continued involvement in the FA Cup.
The Gulls now have four games in ten days to start November: Chelmsford 2nd (H), Salisbury 5th (A), Tonbridge Angels 9th (H), Maidstone 12th (H).
