Not just another race, Helvellyn Triathlon demands a significant level of fitness and brutal determination, something which Chris Martin has in abundance.
Set in the stunning Lake District National Park, this was no sightseeing trip, as Chris safely navigated the swim and challenging bike course before summiting one of England's most iconic mountains, Helvellyn. Fuelled by gingerbread, Chris successfully crossed the finish line in 5h 52m.
Bradley Price made it a successful return to triathlon racing with a strong showing at the Roadford Lake Triathlon organised by Sportiva Events. Taking part in the Sprint distance event, Bradley claimed third place in his age group and a top ten finish in a swift time of 1.25.03
A new course welcomed runners to the Dartmouth Regatta Road Race as Jason Hurford took third place overall and Naomi Flanagan first lady. Taking in a traditional hilly route, runners this year were treated to a section through the Navy College grounds as part of the tough 4.5 mile course.
