Three more regattas to go

The West of England Amateur Rowing Association has published the current Championship positions with just three regattas remaining of the ten regatta Championship series.

Those three regattas for the 14 affiliated clubs are all in South Devon at Paignton, Torquay and Dartmouth.

Overall, in the fours Paignton are 9th and Torquay 10th. In the single sculls, Torquay are 7th and Paignton 8th.

Individually, Torquay’s Sophie Evans is 2nd in the Ladies Under 14 single sculls; Paignton’s Josh Bradley is 3rd in the Open under 16 single sculls; Torquay’s Harrison Green is 3rd in the Open Under 18 single sculls with clubmate Vensan Crushcov 6th.

Torquay’s William Jackson-Heritage is 3rd in the Open under 14 single sculls and the Paignton/Torquay composite crew sit 4th in the Open under 14 coxed quadruple sculls.

Next regatta is Paignton on Saturday, August 10.
