Cody Cooke recruited from Bath City

The developing squad at Torquay United has welcomed another new addition following the signing of striker Cody Cooke from Bath City.

Cooke, 31, started his football journey with Penryn Athletic in Cornwall, where his obvious talent earned him a move to hometown club Truro City. Cooke’s performances attracted the attention of St Mirren in the Scottish Premier League, where he scored an iconic hat-trick in a win at Dundee, ensuring the club avoided relegation.

Cooke returned to the South-West with a move to Weymouth in 2020 before his switch to Bath, where he scored an impressive 55 goals in 130 appearances.
