Gulls recruit versatile former Pilgrim
The revolving door at Torquay United has swung open with the acquisition of Oscar Threlkeld on a one-year contract.
The 30 year-old came through the youth system at Bolton Wanderers but it was down the road at Plymouth Argyle where Threlkeld became an established Football League performer.
Capable of playing a number of positions, Threlkeld was a huge favourite with the Greeen Army for his swashbuckling performances for the Pilgrims.
He has since enjoyed spells with Salford City, Bradford City, Oldham Athletic, Belgian club Waasland-Beveren and, most recently, Morecambe.
