Great success at Roadford Lake Triathlon
A team of Torbay Tri Club triathletes and swimmers descended on Roadford Lake and came away with a number of superb podium results for their efforts.
Frank Reay claimed first place in his age group over the Sprint distance triathlon in 1.26.20 and was joined on the podium by Ben Flowers, who took second in his respective age group in 1.15.28.
Mark Colombini and Julian Smith battled it out over the standard distance triathlon, with Mark taking second age group spot in 2.52.28 and narrowly ahead of Julian, who finished in 2.55.22.
Steve Waters and Katie Potter went long in the middle-distance triathlon and crossed the finish line with respective times of 5.50.44 and 6.35.26.
In the swim-only events, Nick Cull and Rachel Carter took on the challenging 5k, finishing in 1h 13m (first age group) and 1.42.59 (second age group), while SA Shuffle took a great third place age group for the 2.5k swim in 1.22.33.
