Wollens working with the Bryn Consortium

There was an added Torbay flavour to the acquisition on Torquay United by the Bryn Consortium, with South Devon firm Wollens Solicitors representing the group in securing a brighter future for the club.

Chris Hart, Chief Executive at Wollens, said: “We take pride in contributing to a project of immense importance to both the club and our local community. Torquay United AFC sits in the heart of this community and the club's continuity under new leadership is really very positive news.

“Serving as a trusted legal partner and commercial sponsor, we're thrilled that the club now has a secure future. I’m also proud of our sports law and commercial teams in helping to see this project over the line within just 10 days from the appointment of the Bryn Consortium as the preferred bidder."

Congratulations to everyone involved in the deal and we all wish the Bryn Consortium every success for the future.
