Torquay Bowling Club season opener
Torquay Bowling Club ready for action on the greens
Torquay Bowling Club rolled in the new season with guest of honour Susie Colley - the Chair of Torbay Chamber of Commerce.
After this traditional ceremony marking the start of our bowling season on grass, club members then filled the green, playing 12 ends before retiring to the clubhouse for tea and cakes.
This season, the club has a new home ‘Umbrella’ competition league, club championship matches, many visiting touring teams, Devon League matches for both the ladies and men, Over 55 men’s league matches, mixed triples league matches and some of the members will be playing in County Competitions.
