Tiverton Town are staying up
Final round of games for the regional football season
The season is drawing to a close in regional football leagues and it will be a mid-table finish in the Toolstation Western League for Brixham AFC and Buckland Athletic.
Brixham drew 1-1 with Barnstaple Town on Saturday and welcome lowly Wellington this weekend, while Buckland complete their campaign at Barnstaple.
The Bucks travelled to Helston and very nearly upset the league leaders. Jared Lewington scored twice in the depths of Cornwall but it was not quite enough, as Helston won 3-2 to virtually seal the title.
Ivybridge Town are set to join the Western League next season after they stormed to a dominant victory in the South-West Peninsula League. The Ivies sit a massive 27 points clear of second-placed Bridport with one game to go.
A 2-1 win at Harrow Borough on Saturday means Tiverton Town will survive in the Southern League Premier but Plymouth Parkway have two massive games if they are to stay up.
Parkway, who have endured a huge backlog of games, welcome Hayes & Yeading on Wednesday, a side one point and one place above them in the relegation zone. A win for Parkway would lift them out of the bottom four ahead of the final round of fixtures.
