A trio of Torbay Tri Club runners set on a quest to seek out hidden treasures at the Powderham Castle Power Run.

Taking on the 10-mile legend distance, their adventure took them on a multi-terrain route around the iconic Belvedere Tower, through ancient woodlands and across the sprawling deer park, with plenty of mud soaked terrain adding to the challenge.

Jon Pressling proved he was king of the castle taking the AG win and fourth place overall in 1.14.08 with Cassandra Harrison taking 3rd AG in 1.45.35 and Laraine Gibbins completing the team in 1.48.59.

A trio of club members also completed the Sportiva Events Spring Torbay Triathlon in rather challenging conditions. Starting with a 400m pool swim, it was a battle against the wind around the velopark for 19.5k before a wet and boggy 5k run across the fields.

Donald Brooks took the win with a speedy time of 55.01 and was joined on the finish line by Ian Dabbs (3rd AG) in 1.07.51 and Brenda Finney in 1.35.56.
