Torbay Tri Club at Teignmouth Parkrun
Torbay Tri Club host event on their own patch
A trio of club members took advantage of home racing to claim podium spots at Sportiva Events Donut Duathlon.
Starting with a muddy 5k run around Clennon fields, it was then on to the bike for a 19.5k race around Torbay Velopark before a final 2.5k run to the finish line.
Ian Dabbs was first home for the club in 1.08.26, followed by Linda Dabbs 1.14.58 and Wendy Urban 1.15.19, who stepped on to the podium taking third and first in their respective age groups.
The latest round of Torbay Tri Club's Parkrun series saw 25 members head to Teignmouth for a 5k blast along the seafront. Dodging the rain showers, there were lots of course PB times, with Donald Brooks first overall home in 16.49 and joined by Debbie Burman as first tri club female in 21.27.
