Events coming up at Royal Torbay Yacht Club

The place for a unique bargain on the water this weekend will by the Royal Torbay Yacht Club, as they host a unique Boat Jumble on Saturday, March 23 from 10am – 4pm.

This fantastic event is a great opportunity for sailing enthusiasts to buy and sell bits, bobs and boats. Contact admin@rtyc.org for further details and to book a stand.

The Torbay Dinghy Regatta will take place over the weekend of July 27 and 28 in Torquay, with guaranteed fun and competitive racing for PY Dinghies – Asymmetric, Non-Asymmetric and Junior Classes. Incorporating the Albacore Southern Area Championships.

The Bay will be welcoming sailors from around the country to come and join Torbay RYA at this summer weekend and enjoy racing on some of the finest sailing waters in the world.

Over many years, the Royal Torbay Yacht Club has established an enviable reputation in hosting top class regattas and championships. Sailors and their families can be assured of a friendly welcome and an enjoyable weekend on the English Riviera.

The 2024 Torbay Royal Regatta will take place from August 24 – 26 with racing over three days for IRC, Cruisers, J/24’s and Sportsboats.

Three days of racing will see the IRC fleet competing for the prestigious Addison Gold Cup and with other classes in the Torbay Admirals Cup team racing. Entires now open.

There are still places available on an RYA First Aid course on Sunday, April 14.

This is a one-day course, to be held at the Royal Torbay Yacht Club. The course has been organised by Disabled Sailing Association and a minimum discounted donation of £66.50 is applicable to all DSA members. Contact principal@dsadevon.org.uk for details.
