Strong results for Mid-Devon Cycling Club
Mid-Devon Cycling Club dominated the Under-16 races, with victories for Lara Dix and Henry Cadwallader, at the First Round of South-West Cross-Country Series at Ashcombe.
Eva Fox and Bayley Woodger followed Dix and Cadwallader into runner-up spots in the Girls and Boys events.
Junior Nick Makin broke away from the main chasing group to finish second in the Exeter University Early Season Criterium at Exeter’s Westpoint circuit, before tackling the Kernow Racing Team’s 10-mile Time Trial in Cornwall where he was fourth.
Other SW XC Series results: U14 – 3 Lauren Fox; 3 Matt Holmes, 4 James Allen; Vets – 2 Cathy Kilburn; 8 Andy Taylor.
