Winger leaves Plainmoor
Dillon De Silva has left Torquay United to pursue an opportunity closer to his family home.
The winger leaves Plainmoor with 48 appearances and seven goals to his name after moving from Queens Park Rangers.
United interim boss Aaron Downes told the club website: “First and foremost, I’ve really enjoyed Dillon De Silva’s company, and we thank him for his efforts in training and games for Torquay United.
“An opportunity came up for Dillon to be closer to his family and his home, he wanted to take that, and his match minutes for us has been limited of late.
“We want to wish Dillon all the best for the future, and we thank him for his time and effort with Torquay United.”
