Torbay Weekly leading the way for sport

The Torbay Weekly is barrelling towards its fourth birthday and, as part of our anniversary celebrations, the drama and delight of local sport is being elevated to a new level of coverage.

Since the turn of 2024, we have gradually increased our sporting output to six pages in print and a daily average of three sport stories online at www.torbayweekly.co.uk, all of which adds up to the Torbay Weekly offering the most extensive coverage of local sport available on any platform, and by a big margin.

As well as guaranteed news, previews, reports and reactions from every twist and turn of a turbulent Torquay United season, we provide the biggest and best summaries from the South Devon Football League, full coverage of Torbay rugby, athletics, angling, table tennis, bowls and the rest.

But we want more.

There are so many wonderful sports being played in Our Naturally Inspiring Bay and the Torbay Weekly is your platform to showcase the clubs, participants, volunteers and supporters who make local sport so very special.

Torbay Council and Sport Torbay are promising a bright future for grassroots sport and the Torbay Weekly will lead the coverage. Send your stories and pics to tim.herbert@clearskypublishing.co.uk and we will celebrate your love of sport.
