New season preparations in Devon cricket
We are only ten weeks away from the start of the Tolchards Devon Cricket League season and the boys at Babbacombe CC are in the nets sharpening skills in readiness for a special summer at Walls Hill.
Babbacombe 1sts will compete in D Division West of the DCL and they open with a trip to Kenn CC on May 4 before the first home game against Dartington & Totnes a week later. An early date for the cricketing calendar at Walls Hill is a fascinating local derby with Barton CC 2nds on June 8
Babbacombe 2nds, meanwhile, are in F Division West and they open with a home clash against Brixham 2nds on May 4. Babbacombe 3rds will play in H Division Central and will start with a trip to Abbiotskerswell 3rds.
The indoor nets are held at Spires College and full information available on the Babbacombe CC Facebook page.
