Torbay swimmers shine in Devon champs
Torquay Leander Swimming Club is celebrating fantastic results in the Devon Championships.
After three long weekends at the Life Centre in Plymouth, Leander came home with an incredible 66 personal bests, one gold medal, two silver medals and three bronze medals. A total of 21 swimmers represented Leander, with 26 final appearances and 91 individual swims.
Leander also finished sixth in the Devon Inter Club event and enjoyed fantastic relay results.
The club extended their immense gratitude to Mrs T, Lisa and Roger, who were the club officials at the Champs, as well as team managers Katie, George and Richard, and coaches Matt and Jon.
Congratulations to Head Coach Neil West, who spends many hours at the Plainmoor pool as well as being at every event, and a final special word for the swimmers, representing their proud club with huge pride and respect.
