Brixham beat Okes
Fishermen too strong for Okehampton
Brixham RFC dished out another superb attacking display to secure a dominant 44-15 victory at Okehampton on the weekend.
The Fishermen controlled proceedings from the first whistle and the impressive tally of 44 points means they are the highest scorers in the Regional South West Division, despite sitting fourth behind Chew Valley, Devonport Services and Barnstaple.
Brixham face a tricky trip to Exmouth this weekend.
It was a far more defensive display for Brixham Colts, who triumphed 7-0 at Devonport Services to remain top of the Devon Colts Shield competition.
The free-scoring fun of Brixham was matched by Paignton RFC, who thrashed Wiveliscombe 50-13, with Henry Hoare notching a hat-trick and further tries from Harry Ward, Franco Van Rooyen, Harry Law and Richard Champion. Brad Mckee scored the extras.
The Tics of Torquay battled gamely at Exeter Saracens before going down to a 15-13 defeat.
