Edmondson and Flanagan set fast 10k times on city riverside

Torbay triathlon triumph

The first running race of the season was the first chance for Team Torbay Tri to blast out lots of super fast 10k times along Exeter's riverside, writes Jon Pressling.
Leading the team home was Matt Edmondson, closely followed by Naomi Flanagan who secured second female spot overall. In total the tri club was represented by over 30 runners.

Santa delivered an early present to Gary Burman and Debbie Burman as the pair completed a festive double in Lanzarote at the Haria Music Night Race on Christmas Eve. In taking the 4k race title Gary claimed his first running race title in over 30 years and produced a sprint finish to claim the win in 14.45. Going longer in the 8k race, Debbie made it a double celebration as first lady finisher in 29.58.
Cassandra Harrison, Lizzie Hurford and Rebecca Proctor completed the 200m swim, 9k bike and 2k run in the Swim Bike Run Local event hosted by Sportiva at Torbay Velopark.
