Torbay teenager Austin Lake is focusing his efforts on a career as a photographer and is already capturing national attention.
Austin, who is 14 next month, has recently won both the local and regional heats for the Rotary Young Photographer.
Now he has been shortlisted for the RSPCA Young Photographer of the Year and has been invited to an award ceremony at the world-famous Tower of London.
Austin is home educated and lives with mum, Jo, and has a dad, Rob, and older sister, Georgia.
Mum Jo says: "He’s been taking photographs for just over a year now and would like to be a professional photographer when he’s older and travel the world."
Austin has created a calendar using his favourite photos and is selling them for charity.
Jo says: "He has made these calendars with the plan to donate all profits to SSAFA Devon, the Armed Forces Charity. It is not the first fundraising activity he has done for charity."
Austin will be selling his calendars at Custom Coffee Co. in Paignton on November 23 from 10am to 2pm and at the SSAFA Christmas Fair on December 1.
