The ‘Dragons’ are coming to help Torbay to a brighter future.
Community business support organisation, Local Spark Torbay, is torching a trail for community-powered change with its fifth Torbay Local Entrepreneur Forum & Community of Dragons.
The event - a spirited, inclusive pitching event uniting local visionaries and supporters to build a healthier, more equitable economy in Torbay - is being hosted at Parkfield House in Paignton.
The free-to-join gathering runs from 12:30 pm to 3pm on Saturday, March 14 and brings together entrepreneurs, changemakers, community members and friendly “Dragons” - local residents ready to invest time, passion, expertise, and resources into ideas that strengthen the social and economic fabric of the Bay.
“How do we create new livelihoods and make life better in Torbay?” is the question at the heart of this event - and the answer comes from the people themselves, pitching green, ethical, and community-rooted projects to a crowd that believes in collaboration and collective impact.

Projects are selected based on ethical values, sustainability, local impact, and potential to grow - with one slot specifically reserved for youth-led enterprise.
Whether the support comes in the form of mentorship, introductions, in-kind contributions, or funding, every “investment” fuels Torbay’s collective momentum.
