Primary school pupils across South Devon are being invited to showcase their creativity in a Christmas card competition launched by local MP Caroline Voaden.
This year’s theme is Winter Wonderland Wildlife, with the deadline for entries set for Friday 14 November. The winning design will be featured on the MP’s official Christmas card.
Entries must be the pupils’ own hand-drawn or painted work. Photocopies, computer images and AI-generated designs will not be accepted. Drawings should be A4 in size, in bold, vivid colours suitable for scanning and reproduction. Pupils are asked to write their name, age and school in pencil on the back of their work.

While submissions cannot be returned, the winning pupil will receive a printed copy of the finished card to keep as a memento. The winner will be announced the week after the closing date.
Caroline Voaden, MP for South Devon, said: “I am so excited to launch my Christmas Card Competition – I can’t wait to see all your entries! Having visited lots of primary schools over the past year, I know the quality of these entries will be extremely good. It is a shame I can only choose one, but I’m looking forward to picking a winner!”
Full terms and conditions can be found on Caroline Voaden’s website.
